About the founder

The story behind ShowAI.

Hi, I’m Lotta Punt, founder of ShowAI.

I founded ShowAI in 2026, bringing together three subjects I am interested in and care about: AI, (geo)politics and European policies.

Being engaged in European politics, I know how strict regulations can be within the European Union. To prevent European-based organisations from falling behind due to a lack of knowledge and expertise surrounding the AI Act, I am here to help them navigate it.

ShowAI was created to help organisations understand which rules apply to them, support them in making smart and responsible decisions, and help them move forward with more confidence and peace of mind.

I look forward to working together!

Why politics?

I am interested in how political decisions shape the way organisations and society develop, especially when new technology is involved.

Why European politics?

Visiting the European Parliament and the European Commission sparked my interest in how European regulation is created and how it affects organisations in practice, especially when new technologies are involved.

Why AI?

My interest in AI led me to complete two final research projects on the subject. That experience made me want to understand the technology further, especially how organisations can use it in a smart and responsible way.

Why ShowAI?

AI is evolving quickly and creating many new opportunities for organisations. But with these opportunities also come new rules and responsibilities. While researching the regulations surrounding AI in the European Union, I realised that several of my interests came together: AI, politics and European policies. That is when the idea for ShowAI started. I believe it is important that European organisations can keep up with developments in AI and do not fall behind because regulation feels complex or uncertain.
